Haw River Land Stewards
Biocenosis assisted the Elon University Center for Environmental Studies in providing environmental education and outreach to owners of lands adjacent to the Haw River. Allison Weakley provided information to landowners about native plants for riparian areas and exotic invasive plants often found along the Haw River. She also developed and facilitated a workshop for landowners, taught in a natural area adjacent to the Haw River.
